READ ME!!!!!!!!!

Greetings to all N2K3 Fans and everyone playing the 1990's Mod created by Dakota Sim Racing which is now SimThunder. 

Thank you for downloading the 1996 carset for the 1990's mod created by PsuGorilla and CC48. 

As a special note on the ratings; you might need to adjust the ratings of some of the "field fillers/independents". I for one am not good at setting ratings and it seems as though even if I set a drivers ratings super low he still runs well every week. If you like to have them running well and mixing it up with the big boys then leave it all alone ;)!

This set comes with nearly every car that hit the track in 1996 including most of the DNQ's. The Japan cars are NOT included in this set.
I could not find reference photos for a few cars so they were left out of the set. I think you will all be surprised at how complete it is though.

I don't know everything about what to put in these read me files as this is the first set I have ever put out. So I am just going to go on with the credits for this set.

And a HUGE thank you to Mr. Al Bigley Jr for his work on the #14 Racing For Kids car. For those who dont know who Al is, he is the original Cartoonist for the comic strip that appeared in RFK Magazine. Although he never knew that his characters were used on the race car, he was kind enough to re-draw them for me and then gave me permission to use them and make any necessary changes to them. 

I also want to thank CC48 for all of his efforts on this carset. He painted a large number of cars for the set and without him it would not have been possible to turn this set out so quickly. 

Special Thanks also goes out to the people of the Historical Stock Car Racing forum for their amazing reference photos. Nearly every car that ever hit the track has atleast 1 image there.
